Our Parish Priest

The parish priest of Shrine of St. Antony is Rev.Fr. S. Vincent of Kottar diocese was born in the year 1957 August 11. He was ordained the year 1985 April 14. He is holding an ecclesiastical degree B. Th. he has the experience of 28 years in parishes and other church related offices. He was holding the office of Little way association director, Basic Christian Communities director. He was holding the office of the dean at Thiruthuapuram Denary. He is a good orator and organisor. He is talented in counseling and motivation. For the fast five years he has been functioning as the Rector of Shrine of St. Antony, Vettuvenni. During this period there is enormous spiritual growth and progress. The numbers of pilgrims are increasing year by year. He is managing the shrine in its over all improvements.

Confessor Our Bishop of Kottar diocese has appointed Rev. Fr. S. Mariadhasan, a senior priest who was ordained the year 1969 December 19 as confessor and spiritual counselor. He has good experiences in many parishes. He worked at Kottar social service society in the capacity of project director and director in the Diocese of Kottar. Also he was an advisor of marriage preparation course to the youth of Mulagumoodu vicoriate. His experiences in different lines enhance the people to solve their spiritual and family problems. He has special interest in evangelization work. He worked for 5 years as director in this line. Pilgrims who visit the shrine are properly guided and directed regarding spiritual matters.
