Rooted in faith and nourished by the sacrifices of our ancestors, St. Antony’s Shrine stands as a beacon of devotion and hope for generations.
Parish TraditionVettuvenni St. Antony’s Shrine is located on the banks of the Thamirabarani River, surrounded by lush greenery that creates a peaceful atmosphere for prayer and reflection. The shrine lies along the Kanyakumari–Trivandrum National Highway and is easily accessible through a connecting road. Tradition holds that this holy place traces its roots to the time of Blessed Martyr Devasahayam Pillai, making it one of the most significant faith centers in the region.

A cherished devotion to St. Anthony observed for 13 consecutive Tuesdays. The faithful gather in prayer, seek blessings, and offer thanksgiving for the many miracles received through his intercession.
Holy Masses are offered daily for the intentions of the faithful. Special dedicated Masses allow parishioners to entrust their families, vocations, and needs to the loving care of Christ and St. Anthony.
